• Is export limited only to companies that have certified farms and
packaging stations?
Answer: Export is open to all exporting companies, whether or not they
own a farm or a filling station, as long as the company will obtain the
exported product from a certified farm and packing at an approved
station.
• Is it permissible for a farmer who has been adopted to sell all or
part of his production to an exporting company?
Answer: Yes a farm that has been approved may waive all or part of its
crop for one or more exporting companies, provided that it is within the
approved quantity of the crop at the farm.
• Is it permissible for the packing station to carry out packing for
others?
Answer: This is permissible for the station code to be placed on packing
packaging and indicated in the exported consignment sheets.
• Is the farm or station approved for all crops at this time?
Answer: No system will be applied on a sequential basis to all crops.
Grapes, strawberries and pepper that will be applied by the system at
the moment.
• How can any exporting company obtain a list of approved farms and
stations?
Answer: A list of farms, packing stations and assembly centers that have
been approved on the council's website will be developed and updated
continuously.
• Can the Council provide technical support to farmers to conform to the
requirements of the new system?
Answer: The Council is fully prepared to offer free art support in
cooperation with HEIA.
• Are there small contiguous areas that can be certified as one farm?
Answer: If the areas are contiguous and have a single source of water
and planted the same crop, they can be treated as one farm and if they
are approved, they are given a single code.. |
